Message	Last night you posted some info about the car and said it was stage III. What you are hearing at 2700-3000 RPM is air rushing though the air filter. Also if the car doesn't have BOV's, I believe the stock recirculation valves open for a second once manifold vacuum reaches 0 which is also at about the same RPM range. That could also be part of the noise you are hearing. My car used to make the same noise until I replaced the recirculation valves with BOVs.
